Did you see her deep-fried holiday special in which she deep-fried EVERYTHING, including AN ENTIRE CAKE???????
Leslie: True. More proof about what you said earlier: she must have a committee to think these things up. Cool about Citronelle - I hope to make it there sometime in the not too distant future. A very cool-looking "film noir" production of MacBeth is opening next month at Washington's Shakespeare Library, and Margaret Cho is in DC in April. Citronelle would be a great place to stop.
Roopa: I did see that. I'm sure we all saw the "deep fried stuffing on a stick". Again, I know of no human being who eats that way in any part of this country, except maybe Paula Deen.
Deep fried Mars bars is as far as i can go... good to finally meet you!
I have no desire to make this a habit, but I do plan to try something unnaturally fried at the next state fair. Of course, that isn't until August, so I have time to mentally prepare myself :)
