I accidentally stumbled upon this article from, of all places, the Seattle Times. Nancy Leson and I share something in common with, perhaps, many of y'all in Blogland: a mutual irritation with Rachael Ray. It's not that she's a bad person or anything. I'm sure she's a perfectly lovely person. But she's just so damn perky, and so goddamn omnipresent! She's everywhere, man! On overpriced bottles of EVOO, on cookbooks, on three television shows, plastered all over certain boxes of Ritz crackers...
And one Seattle-based food critic has had quite enough.

She really bugs people from coast to coast

She's absolutely overexposed. She even has her own "mix tapes." Now what does she know about kids music or Christmas music?! I can see this backlash building.
Have you surfed over to Kitchenography's blogspot? She hates RR,too and took a black marker to her box of crackers.
Went to Han Au Reum last night. THey've changed their name to H-Mart! How comical. Also went to Seoul Plaza to check their international grocery store. A bit grottier than Hmart, and loads fewer people. There are numerous Asian food courts there.
Do you know the Peruvian place up there?
Haven't read Kitchenography, but I must check it out. There's a Peruvian place by Security Square Mall?
It's called Salsa Grill. Right across from Fox Chevy. I used to have an office out there and i hated it so much, i used to go exploring at lunch. Lots of Indian places, too. But the Peruvian place is very interesting with ceviche, paella and some other good food. The owner's called Jay.
I read in the WashPost on 2/13 that Laura Bush did a sit-down with RR. Can't imagine how horrible that is...
