Check out Baltimore Magazine's September 2006 issue if you can get it. It's the annual food issue, and has a round table discussion of restauranteurs at several ethnic restaurants in Baltimore city, including Qayum Karzai, brother of Afghan prez Hamid, and proprietor of the fabulous Helmand that I discussed a few weeks back. Okay, now I'm feeling a new mission to visit each of these men's restaurants over the next few weeks, if I can afford it!
