Uhm, you might want to get to Canton, like, today...

I just double-checked the Irish Festival website to see when they were open tomorrow. They're not. They're open today, not tomorrow. So, if you want to see this, it's now or never!

Can you turn off the balloons? I'm gonna go blind.

Nope, they're staying for a few more days.

Thanks for the tip about the Irish Festival. We made it over there yesterday afternoon and enjoyed the beautiful weather for a while. (Until the baby got a bit fussy and needed to be put in the sleep machine, aka the car.) I would've had some Guinness or a bite of fish and chips, but we stopped at Fortunato Bros. on the way over and had a couple slices and one of those Tomato Rolls. Damn! That's good stuff.

After that we whipped over to Hampden to check out the fest there and had a fresh kielbasa sandwich with kraut, just like my mom and my Aunt Josie used to make at Easter.

Continuing my Baltimore food weekend we still have Andy Nelson's BBQ leftover from Friday night!

Ooh, I didn't even think about the HampdenFest. I should've gone!

Totally off the subject, but we went to Hank's Oyster Bar in DC on Sunday. Very good. $4 bloody marys.

Going to Baltimore or Annapolis next Saturday. Yeah!!!

Atlanta Social: Coincidentally, I was also down in DC. I went to the Watergate Hotel to buy some stuff for my new apartment, but spent 45 minutes running around trying to find my lost car keys - because someone with half a brain set them down somewhere on the 6th floor.

Have fun in Bawlmer and Annapolis!

Anyone writing about balloons: I only turned them off because I didn't like 'em anymore - that and a few other graphics! **SIGH**

Glad to see another positive review of Hank's in DC. That was one of my two fave meals out last year. They're also opening one in Alexandria, VA.
