Fun with WBAL!

Hello, Baltimore! Weezy, Boss Hogg and the folks at KRP came here way back in 1981 to shoot these promos advertising the "first great network switch" in Baltimore TV history - when Channel 11 became the CBS affiliate (long before the big shuffle dance of '95). So grab a TV dinner and chuckle. I think only Norm Lewis is still there - wait, was that Stan Stovall? I don't know; I'm a WJZ man, myself.



That video really belongs on a different page altogether, but I just had to post it in case it never made it on one! Just to make it fit in, here's a WBAL report (long after the network became the NBC affiliate it is today) about the "Hot Sauce Diet".
