Japan brings us the creepy CB2 child robot. Okay, I don't think it's that creepy (the guys who wrote this, though, are disturbed more easily). I think it's kind of cool. Pretty large for a creature with the fine motor skills of a 2 year old, though.

So will it meet the nifty Actroid DER 2 android at the next android family reunion?
Other nifty robots that need no food whatsoever include Jules the robot, who bears an uncanny resemblance to Broadway star and Bethesda native Michael Cerveris (minus the wires sticking out of his head), and more of Actroid DER 2's buddies: the scantily clad one, the blond one with nipple-age - you can tell a man designed these two - and Repliee Q-2, a girl with attitude - those gloves do not go with that outfit).
Okay, now it's a little creepy.
