Today is both the first night of fasting before the Islamic month of Ramadan and the first evening of Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year. Happy 5767 and 1427, y'all! These days are solemn for both religions, but I am neither Jewish nor Muslim, so I don't have to fast. Instead, I think I'll seek out some good Kosher grub and some good Halal eatin' this weekend!
