It hasn't been working for me to be perfectly honest. Then again, it's supposed to work best in non-hilly terrain, and that's all the Baltimore area is - hilly terrain. Even worse, about 95% of all the stop signs and stop lights are at the bottoms of those hills. I know - I was counting yesterday.

minx: I find myself listening to more audiobooks than reading the paper versions, because it's just easier to do that (that and I read slowly). I'll be looking for the audiobook version of this, Fast Food Nation and that new Scott McClellan tell-all that everyone on the news shows is talking about.Johnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08064972052546768332noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34312492.post-46944089090739841072008-06-17T09:18:00.000-04:002008-06-17T09:18:00.000-04:00The hypermiling thing really pissed me off the oth...The hypermiling thing really pissed me off the other day. Driving through stop signs? Going unsafely slow on either the Washington or Baltimore Beltway? Paying more attention to your milage counter than the road? To save a dollar or two?

Not a good idea.K8teebughttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12019007159851108221noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34312492.post-39768367206986663742008-06-17T08:34:00.000-04:002008-06-17T08:34:00.000-04:00Interesting! And your post reminded me that I have that Fortune Cookie Chronicles book on my Amazon wish list and a $20 gift certificate burning a hole in my pocket....

I used to have the biggest crush on Dan Rodricks, when we did theatre together. But that was...holy crap...23 years ago. :(theminxhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15546089936845346029noreply@blogger.com
