I have no idea how anyone would have inferred that, especially since I was also born and raised in Lansdowne.Johnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08064972052546768332noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34312492.post-17008339080878015742010-11-18T14:46:25.248-05:002010-11-18T14:46:25.248-05:00I don't know why people pick on Lansdowne. We won't miss you.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34312492.post-43951197528714551212008-03-24T13:13:00.000-04:002008-03-24T13:13:00.000-04:00well the cabooses are gone as of now...and they we...well the cabooses are gone as of now...and they were placed there because they were planning little shops in each one. but that idea backfired.

anyway, in reference to the Sour Beef - the Inn serves that on weekends (Saturday AND Sunday). But get there early because we've gone on Sunday late afternoon and they were all out.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34312492.post-31178262674710959322007-08-01T13:38:00.000-04:002007-08-01T13:38:00.000-04:00G&M is in Linthicum, off Exit 8 - from the Ferndal...G&M is in Linthicum, off Exit 8 - from the Ferndale direction turn right when you get off the exit; it'll be straight ahead. From the Lansdowne direction of the Beltway turn left at the exit; it'll be on the right. It's right at the intersection of Hammonds Ferry and Nursery Roads.

Never noticed the cabooses though. I just know that the Lansdowne ones seem to be largely decorative. They don't get in the way of the actual trains that pass by them all the time.Johnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08064972052546768332noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34312492.post-40288587303314038812007-08-01T09:12:00.000-04:002007-08-01T09:12:00.000-04:00It seems to me that I once took that exit to a rea...It seems to me that I once took that exit to a really good crabcake place. G & M or something? It was ages ago before I lived in Baltimore.

And about the caboose, I'm not sure what they ever did but about 10 years ago I started noticing that you never see them on trains anymore. I'm surprised to see one on this train. I can't remember the last time I saw one.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34312492.post-8707439047687060302007-07-28T17:24:00.000-04:002007-07-28T17:24:00.000-04:00Huh, whaddyaknow, another person from in and aroun...Huh, whaddyaknow, another person from in and around Lansdowne. I grew up there too but I've never been to the Landsdowne Inn.Rachelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10188103984666876013noreply@blogger.com
